Like many audiophiles, Chris first discovered a passion for sound through his love of music.  An avid guitar player and synth geek, Chris has been composing music and playing from an early age.  During his time at the Savannah College of Art and Design, he enrolled in the sound program in order to take a high level modular synthesis class, and was thrilled to discover a new found love for sound design and mixing: an outlet through which he could channel his creative energy and ideas to bring a picture to life and tell a story.

On a cold January day in 2007, Chris moved to New York City to pursue a career in audio.  Arriving with only a backpack and laptop, Chris began an internship at Pomann Sound - an audio post facility in the heart of NYC.  There, he honed his skills and quickly established himself as a skilled sound designer and mixer that clients love to work with.  A few months later, Chris was a full-time engineer at Pomann Sound.

During his three and a half years in New York City, Chris continued to grow as an audio engineer, lending his expertise to countless radio and television spots for agencies like McCann Erickson, Ogilvy and Mather, and MTV-Nickelodeon; as well as short films, feature films, and animations.  The range of projects he has been involved in is vast; from working with Lucas Arts to produce voice over sessions with New York based talent for a new blockbuster Star Wars MMO, to composing music for TV, radio spots, and even Fisher Price toys!

In Fall of 2010, Chris moved to California, and later that year began work with “High Moon Studios” in Carlsbad, where he was a contract sound designer on the upcoming game “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”.  With this title just recently finished, Chris is looking for his next opportunity in the game industry and is eager to continue pursuing sound for games and growing as a sound designer.

How sweet the sound...
